Ever since I started my job as a designer @ Genius I have been trying to improve the state of our platform. Coming from a big product design shop the process of working at a start up has been an interesting learning experience.
Before I started at Genius the design team consisted of 3 designers/front-end developers so most visual iterations were done directly in code.
As part of my role I have been doing a lot of documentation of our product and of how it has evolved over the years.
Along with Edwin Morris (Head of Product) we created a new set of modules and components to populate the site and systematize everything.
